Parcel Viewer Guide

How to navigate, search, and analyze property data.

1. Map Navigation & Search
  • Search: Enter an address (e.g., 289 Center Street) in the top-right search bar. The map will zoom to the parcel and highlight it in Cyan.
  • Click: Click any parcel on the map to view its details in the Left Side Panel.
  • Home: Click the Home button (top-left) to reset the view to the Wolfeboro town boundary.
2. Using Filters

Use the "Filters & Themes" dropdown in the top header to isolate specific properties. These filters are cumulative (they work together).

  • Tax Impact: Filter properties that saw a tax Decrease or Increase by specific percentages (e.g., Decrease 10% - 20%).
  • Land Use: Filter by property type (e.g., Single Family Home, Commercial).
  • Reset All: Clears all filters and resets the map styling to default.
3. Measurement Tools

Located in the bottom-left corner of the map.

  • Distance: Click to start, click to add corners, double-click to finish. Measures in US Feet.
  • Area: Click to outline a shape, double-click to finish. Measures in Square Feet.
  • Clear: Removes the measurement lines from the map.
4. Map Themes (Smart Mapping)

Change the visualization of the map using the Map Theme dropdown. Here is how the data is calculated and colored:

2020 Revaluation (% Change)

Displays the percentage difference between the 2019 and 2020 tax assessments.

  • Red: Tax Increase (> 20%)
  • White/Grey: Little to No Change
  • Green: Tax Decrease (> 20%)
Total Assessed Value

Visualizes the total value (Land + Buildings) of the parcel.

  • Dark Blue: High Value ($1M+)
  • Medium Blue: ~$600k
  • Light Blue: Lower Value (< $150k)
Parcel Size (Acres)

Calculated dynamically based on the geometry area.

  • Dark Green: Large Parcels (> 20 Acres)
  • Medium Green: ~5 Acres
  • Light Yellow: Small Parcels (< 0.5 Acres)
